Delete your Heyy account

Heyy is operated by SoClose Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202555665W, Singapore). You can delete your account at any time, from the Heyy app for Android, from the website, or by email. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. In the Android app

1. Open Heyy and sign in.
2. Go to More, then the Account section.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

2. On the website

1. Sign in at heyy.blog/login.
2. Open Settings, then Delete account, and confirm.

3. By email

If you can no longer sign in, write to support@heyy.ai from the email address of the account. We confirm the deletion within 7 days.

4. What is deleted

Immediately and permanently:

• Your profile: name, email address, password, sign-in methods and preferences
• Your blogs, their articles (drafts and published), sources, scores and distribution channels
• Your app sessions, registered devices and notifications
• Your usage records and connected social accounts

Published articles go offline. A confirmation email is sent to the address of the account just before it is deleted.

5. What is kept, and for how long

• Encrypted backups: up to 30 days, then overwritten
• Payment records (invoices, held by our payment provider): as required by tax and accounting law, typically 7 years
• Security logs: up to 90 days
